Bonnat's Venezuelan Porcelana, Apotequil, Marfil de Blanco and Real del Xoconuzco
The name Porcelana comes from the white colour of the beans. We are lucky enough to stock a rare Venezuelan porcelana from a plantation that only produces 3 tonnes per year.
We also have 2 other porcelana-like varities.
Apotequil, from Peru, with a sweet floral flavour
Marfil de Blanco, from Mexico, with slightly acid flavours.
Finally from Jamaica, Real Del Xoconuzco with a deep and powerful flavour, and said to be the first cocoa to be introduced to the European courts, now back in production again for the first time since 1850.
